Kyle & Shantel McDonald

Kyle and Shantel were both raised in church from an early age, and have always been involved in children’s ministry for almost all of their married life. 

Kyle and Shantel (Shan) have been married  since 1991. They are proud parents of 5 children- Ashlee and her husband Payton, Hayden and his wife Shelby, Brayden, Trayden and Kaitee.  They have 4 grandchildren- Caden, Kynlee, Colt and Gunner. 

In their 25+ years in ministry, their mission has always been the same: to love children  and teach them who they are in Christ.  You will find them every Sunday morning and Wednesday evening in the Lakeside Kids Corral, along with their faithful sidekick, Lakeside Larry.

Youth Pastors

Patrick and Sabrina Holmes

With 17 years of marriage and four incredible boys, they are a family rooted in faith and community. Their journey began at Lakeside, where Patrick grew up and where Sabrina now calls home. It was at Lakeside that their paths first crossed, leading to a beautiful union at The Church.

For Patrick, Crosswalk holds a special place in his heart—a place where he feels called to serve the youth of this generation. With 15 years of combined experience in youth ministry, they believe that God has opened doors to bring them back to their home church, where they are dedicated to ministering to the youth of today, who are the future of tomorrow.

Their family is deeply involved in both church and community life, with their four boys keeping them on their toes both inside and outside the church walls. They are passionate about their faith and excited for the journey ahead.

Worship Pastor

Christie and Scott Zimmer

Christie’s love for music began at a very young age, thanks to her musically inclined father, who loved the church and never missed an opportunity to serve whenever the church doors were opened.

She married her high school sweetheart, Scott, in 1991. They are the proud parents of 3 sons and have been abundantly blessed with 9 grandchildren.

Christie’s love for Jesus overflows in Worship through song. It is her passion and hearts desire that the church enter into a life of Worship with her and experience the freedom and joy that coms when you submit your life to Him.

Administrator

Debra Dolan

Debra has been a member of the Lakeside family for several years but she never expected to become a staff member. Sometimes God has better plans. She is now the Administrator for Lakeside Church of God and loves every minute of it.

Debra has a degree in Business Management from Oklahoma State University and worked in the banking industry for over 25 years. She’s been married to her devoted husband, Buddy, for over 40 years and they have three children and one granddaughter. Their youngest son, Nicholas, is a special young man with Down Syndrome and is a blessing to their lives as well as many others.
